Almagelleralp

This is what we mean by living the high life! The Almagelleralp Mountain Restaurant (2194m above sea level) awaits travellers looking for some truly "haute" cuisine (take it from us, you'll want to try the Smugglers' Macaroni!). If you feel the need for a little siesta after your meal, no problem: you can make yourself comfortable in our dormitories or double rooms. WCs and showers are available on every floor. Booking in advance is highly recommended.

To reach the Almagelleralp, we recommend the adventure trail from Furggstalden. This takes about 1.30 hours and leads you over suspension bridges and ladders past well-secured rock passages. If you spend the night in the Almagelleralp mountain hotel, you can hike the high-altitude trail to Kreuzboden (above Saas-Grund) the next day. You will enjoy a fantastic view of the Saas mountains!
