2. In which cases may we share your data with third parties?
a. Basic Principle
We may need to use the services of third parties or affiliated companies (namely Saas-Fee/Saastal Webshop GmbH) and commission them to process your data (so-called data processors). Categories of the recipients are namely:
- Accounting, fiduciary and auditing companies;
- Consulting companies (legal advice, tax advice, etc.);
- IT- service providers (webhosting, support, cloud services, website design, etc.);
- Payment service provider;
- Providers of tracking, conversion and advertising services;

We make sure that these third parties and our affiliated companies comply with the requirements of data protection and treat your personal data confidentially.
We may also be required to disclose your personal data to authorities.
b. Transfer to partners and affiliated companies
We cooperate with various companies and partners in the tourism industry, who place their offers on our website. Such offers are labeled as third-party offers.
If you take advantage of such an offer, we process your personal data for the purpose of forwarding it to these partners or affiliated companies (e.g. name, function, communication, etc.). These partners and affiliated companies are independently responsible for the personal data they receive. Their privacy policies apply.
c. Visiting our social media channels
We have embedded links to our social media channels on our website. There are corresponding icons for each channel displayed on our website. If you click on these icons, you will be redirected to our social media channels.
In this case, the social media providers are notified about how you access the network. The social media providers can use the data collected for their own purposes. We would like to point out that we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by the providers.
d. International transfer
Under some circumstances, your personal data may be transferred to companies abroad for data processing purposes. The transfer may take place worldwide.
If the level of data protection does not correspond to that in Switzerland, we carry out a prior risk assessment and ensure contractually that the same level of protection is guaranteed as in Switzerland (e.g. by means of standard data protection clauses of a supervisory authority). If our risk assessment is negative, we take additional technical measures to protect your data.
3. How long do we store your data?
We store personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the individual purposes for which the data was collected. Thereafter, your data will be deleted or anonymized.
We store collected data for up to twelve months. An exception applies to analysis and tracking data, which can be stored longer.
We store contractual data for longer, as we are obliged to do so by legal regulations. In particular, we must retain business communications, concluded contracts and accounting records for up to 10 years. If such data is no longer needed to perform these services, the data will be blocked and we will only use it for accounting and tax purposes.
4. How do we protect your data?
We will secure your data and take all reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect them. Within our websites, we use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure in conjunction with the highest encryption level supported by your browser.
Disclaimer for electronic communication and social media:
We cannot guarantee confidential or reliable transmission for data that you transmit to us via a contact form, e-mail or social media. This also applies in the event that we reply to you via an electronic channel, unless we use special encryption techniques.
We would like to point out that e-mails in particular could be read or changed by unauthorized parties during transmission. Please note that the spam filter may reject your e-mails.
5. How do we process personal data of children?
We take special care to protect children and their personal data. We only process such data based on consent. If a child's parents or legal guardians have given their consent, the adult or child of legal age is free to revoke this consent for the future at any time.
6. What rights do you have?
a. Right to information
You can request information about the data we have stored about you at any time. We ask you to send your request together with a proof of identity to info@saas-fee.ch.
b. Data transfer
You have the right to receive your data in a common file format if we process your data automatically and if:
- you have given your consent for the data processing; or
- you have disclosed data due to the conclusion and fulfilment of a contract.
Alternatively, if these conditions are met, you may request that we transfer your data directly to another data controller. However, we can refuse this request if it causes a considerable effort.
c. Deletion and correction
You can request the deletion or correction of your data at any time. We may refrain from deleting or correcting your data if we have legitimate reasons for doing so (e.g. legal obligations to retain data, safeguarding or defending legal claims, etc.).
Please note that exercising your rights may conflict certain contractual agreements, which can have effects on the fulfilment of the contract (e.g. premature termination of the contract or cost consequences).

IV. Individual Data Processing Operations
7. Visiting our website
a. Creating log files
What information do we receive and how do we use it?
When you access our website, the browser used on your device automatically forwards technical information (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, country from which you are accessing) to our server and stores it temporarily (so-called "log data").
Why do we collect your data?
The temporary storage of log files is mandatory for the operation of the website to guarantee its functionality and to ensure the security of our systems.
b. Cookies
What information do we receive and how do we use it?
Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. This allows us to save certain settings (such as language settings or location information) so that you do not have to re-enter them when you revisit the website.
Why do we use cookies?
We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure.
How can you prevent data collection via cookies?

You can delete them, disable them, or restrict the transfer by changing the settings in your browser. However, if you deactivate the cookies for our website, you may no longer be able to make full use of all the functions on this website.
c. Analysis services
What information do we receive and how do we use it?
We use various analysis services (e.g. Google Analytics and similar providers), whereby detailed information about your behavior on our website is collected and evaluated. The analysis of your behavior is usually processed via a third-party cookie, with which data such as your IP address, browser type, previously visited page, etc. are collected and stored. In most cases, however, we cannot identify you.
Why are we allowed to process such data?
The collected user data helps us to optimize our website and our offer and to make it more user-friendly. For information on how to prevent the collection of data, see our comments on cookies.
d. Social media plug-ins
What information do we receive and how do we use it?
We may embed functions and content (e.g. videos) from social media providers. By doing this, providers receive data about you (so-called social plug-ins).
This is the case, for example, on our blog at www.saas-fee.ch/blog. The social plug-ins allow you to share the blogs on your social media channels.
We have no knowledge of what data is collected via the plug-in and how it is being used by the social media provider.
Why are we allowed to process such data?
The embedding of social plug-ins helps us to make our offer accessible to a wider range of users.
How can you prevent such a collection of data?
If you do not want the social media provider to be able to connect the visit to our website to your user account, please log out of your social media user account before using our website. You can also prevent the loading of the social plug-ins, for example, with a script blocker.
8. Contact

You can contact us by e-mail. If you contact us by e-mail, we process your e-mail address, the content, subject and date of your e-mail as well as your contact data (e.g. name, telephone number, address).
At www.saas-fee.ch you can contact us via an electronic contact form. The data you provide, such as name, e-mail address, content and time of your message, etc., will be transmitted to us and stored.
Furthermore, you also have the option of registering for various offers/events via a contact form. In this case, we may collect additional data - which may be particularly sensitive - which is required for the safe execution of the corresponding event (e.g. eating habits, date of birth; state of health, etc.). We only pass this data on to third parties if it is needed for carrying out the offers/events.
Why are we allowed to process such data?
Your information will be stored to process your request, in case of follow-up questions or to initiate a contractual relationship with us. Furthermore, this serves to secure the quality of our communication with you in the future.
9. Adventure Shop
What information do we receive?
When visiting our adventure shop, you can make reservations or bookings for transport services, accommodation or experiences. You can also purchase products, such as vouchers. You can order via a customer login or as a guest.
If you order as a guest, we collect and store the data you provide in the input mask. This includes name, e-mail address, delivery address, telephone number and, if applicable, other details.
Depending on the offer/service, we may collect additional data that is required for processing your request (e.g. a passport photo for issuing a ski pass, Swiss ID, etc.).
How do we use such data?
We need your data to process and fulfill your booking/order. Furthermore, we may need the data to identify you as our customer, to correspond with you, for invoicing purposes, to assert claims if necessary and for the administration of our customer data.
What information do we pass on to third parties and how do they use it?
In order to fulfill the contract, we may disclose your data to third parties to the extent necessary. A partner or affiliated company may therefore be responsible for processing your order. Depending on the offer/service, your data will be forwarded to these companies for the completion of the order or request.
10. Customer Login
What information do we receive?
On our website, you can register using my.bookings&more to create a customer login. You thereby create a central login, which you can use for various applications, websites and third party services.
When you register, we collect and store your e-mail address and any other contact details. A customer login provides you with password-protected direct access to your basic data stored with us. In addition, you can access our services in the login area and use the corresponding functions (e.g. viewing your orders or bookings or managing your personal data).
How do we use such data?
After registering and logging into your account, we may collect, store and evaluate the following data: data about your registration as a user, data about which offers you have already obtained via your user account and information about which apps you download and how you use them.
The apps are developed and operated by third-party providers. Therefore, when downloading and using the apps, the privacy policies of the respective providers apply.
Why are we allowed to process such data?
If you register for a customer login, you give us your consent so we can process your data. You can revoke your consent at any time by deleting your customer account at my.bookings&more. Data processing carried out in the past is not affected by the revocation.
11. Marketing
Are we allowed to use your data for advertising purposes?
Yes, if you have provided us with data in connection with an order/reservation, we may use this data for advertising purposes within the framework of art. 3 fig. o of the Federal Act against Unfair Competition.
How do we use such data?
The details of your purchases can be evaluated for advertising purposes and for the purpose of product improvement.
We use purpose-bound evaluations to form target groups, which enable us to inform you as a customer individually about our offers according to your previous purchases. In addition, we measure the effectiveness of our advertisings.
We may commission third-party providers with advertising measures, advertising campaigns and with the measurement of conversions as well as corresponding evaluations (e.g. with the use of Facebook Pixel).
We can pass on your contact data in pseudonymous form to third-party companies (so-called hashing). By matching the database, the advertising company (usually a social media provider) recognizes your contact data that already exists in its database. In this case, the third-party provider can re-identify your data and thus learn that you are our customer. The third-party provider will show you advertisements tailored to your interests on our behalf.
Why are we allowed to process such data?
We are interested in effectively broadcasting our offers and providing you with offers tailored to your needs.
Furthermore, we want to optimize our advertising measures while continuing to offer you attractive products/experiences.

More detailed information regarding the individual events can be found in the respective conditions of participation.
What does participating in a sweepstake or contest mean?
