Enjoy the ultimate sledding pleasure on the illuminated slope or all the way down into the valley. An 11 km long toboggan run through snowy forests and small hamlets on wide paths and slopes awaits you. From 6.45 pm the cable car runs continuously and the last descent from Kreuzboden is at 9.45 pm.

The winter landscape around Kreuzboden is mystical and romantic during a torchlight hike. Enjoy this very special atmosphere. In this very special atmosphere, there is also a surprise waiting for you! And that's why it's fun to experience it together as a group, with family or among friends. 2 tours are offered per evening.

What could be better than a cheese fondue surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama? In the afternoon, head to the Kreuzboden station. After a short hike on snowshoes (approx. 50 minutes) or on touring skis, you can set off directly from the valley into the tranquil mountain world.

Here you can end your day on the large sun terrace with an aperitif and a breathtaking view.

Before the sunset bathes the mountain peaks in a golden light, a delicious cheese fondue awaits you in the cozy hut.

Strengthened by the delicious meal, you make your way back to Kreuzboden station, from where the last gondola back to Saas-Grund departs at 9.45 pm. Or you can extend your stay and spend the night at the hut, which is a very special experience.

What to expect:

A husky experience for kids is the perfect way to spend an unforgettable day with us at Triftalp in Saas-Grund. Here the little ones will learn everything they need to know about the Siberian Husky, mushing and sledding, and will lead a small husky team.

The children will have the opportunity to get to know our Siberian Huskies better and learn many interesting things about these fascinating animals. On our trail they will take their first steps with the sled and help us prepare the sled and the huskies for their first musher baptism.

They will be accompanied and supported by an adult or their parents, while our guides are always on hand to help.

We make it a point to ensure that everyone is in safe hands and having fun in some of the most beautiful scenery in Europe. Our guides will teach everything you need to know about mushing, huskies and sledding.

Hohsaas 3200 m.a.s.l. - one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Alps. The nearby gentle Trift glacier beckons, and the magnificent ice formations invite you to an impressive glacier hike. It is a good feeling to be active here - the ideal tour for groups, families and clubs.

Ideal tour for beginners with a brilliant view.

With a length of 11 km, the toboggan run from Kreuzboden (2400 m SL) to Saas-Grund (1559 m SL) offers almost endless pleasure. With the cable car, you can easily reach the starting point of the sledge run on Kreuzboden or at the intermediate station Trift. Enjoy a fantastic sleigh ride through snowy forests and a drive through small hamlets with typical Valaisian barns. We recommend our special sledges for our toboggan run, which have an excellent gliding ability.

Well-maintained cross-country trails lead through snow-covered larch forests and along the wintry Vispa, surrounded by imposing four-thousand metre peaks. Cross-country skiing in the Saas Valley means enjoying nature and training in high alpine surroundings.

Cross-country skiing tickets are available at all tourist offices. In addition, they can be purchased at the Volg in Saas-Balen or at Zurbriggen Sport und Fun Sport in Saas-Grund.

• Decisive for the children and youth fare is the date of birth (not the year of birth).
• When purchasing a parent's online ticket (6-day pass, regular price), an identity card and the valid SaastalCard must be presented at the ticket office. Afterwards, a free ski pass will be issued to the child (check of the identity card).

• Discounts and rebates are not cumulative.

No matter if beginner or pro: on our Funslope at Sandiger Boden, even more  fun is inevitable for everybody.

It starts with a speedboost, which brings the traveling speed to funslope temperature. You continue on sweeping waves and dynamic steep curves. Now it's getting serious, because the Slopecop is following you: Armed with a laser pistol, it measures the speed and gives funny comments. The fast ride continues in a spiral, through a tunnel and then straight through to a final jump. Two integrated photo spots catch the most beautiful moments.

We teach according to the guidelines of the Swiss Snow League and offer group lessons at all levels.

​Your child is taught the right technique and safety, with the emphasis on play and fun. The groups consist of max. 9 participants. This guarantees learning success.

Snow fleas (from 3 years)

In a safe area we get used to the skis, make our first attempts at walking and skiing and learn to brake. Afterwards we continue on to the nearby Wonder Carpet.

Break in heated room. Sunday trial day possible.

A slope area for young ski fans and little beginners! The Kinderland is tailored to the wishes and needs of young snow sports enthusiasts. A well-groomed slope with the opportunity to take on various small challenges is set against a fantastic backdrop. With a bit of luck, you might meet Snowly or a little snowman. The children's area is accessible on foot for young snow sports enthusiasts.
The conveyor belt is also available to adult beginners - a valid ski pass is required.

Perfect practice area for beginners in the hamlet "Unter dem Berg" in Saas-Grund.
