And this is how it works
You buy an altitude card and choose between three packages for your starting balance. During the low seasons you can use the card at the Hohsaas cable cars:
Low season 2023:

Unlike other ski tickets, you can use the credit on your card for 5 years. Each time you pass the turnstile, it will deduct only the defined vertical meters per section:
