Allalin Races

Being there is everything - under this motto, numerous amateur racers will tackle the spectacular race course at the foot of the Allalinhorn on 11 and 12 April 2025. The glacier races against a unique backdrop are a skiing experience for participants and spectators alike. 
The organisers look forward to seeing you again at the 43st edition of the Allalin Races.

The first Allalin races took place in 1946. At that time, nine young skiers started from the summit of the 4027-meter-high mountain Allalin and plunged down into the 2227-meter lower located Saas-Fee. Only five skiers mastered the unprepared track to the finish. Today, the start is in the ski area and the track for the race is well prepared.
