Ice stock sport, or Bavarian curling, is another great alternative. This ice sport is played with a round ice stock and a daube, a rubber disc. The daubes are placed at a distance of 15 to 20 metres away on the ice. The aim of the game is to get the ice stocks as close to the daube as possible. It is especially enjoyed by groups and families. Ice stock sport can be played in Saas-Fee, Saas-Balen and Saas-Almagell. In Saas-Almagell there is the possibility of guided bavarian curling on Wednesday evenings (limited capacity).
