The cross-media Saas-Fee layout system creates a platform for all design elements. It can be used flexibly and modularly for different formats and thus enables a lively brand presence. The layout system offers a wide range of options in terms of specific design and yet creates a consistent overall impression across all applications and media.

Images can be used across the entire surface; the juxtaposition of two images divides the formats horizontally or vertically into two equal parts. Depending on the background (colour composition/contrast), the logo is displayed in Saas-Fee red or negative white. The typography at the top or bottom of the format always appears in white. Additional information elements appear in red on a white background in the red logo application and in white on a red background in combination with the white logo.

Logo sizes and margin spacing are derived from the horizontally or vertically twelve-part formats. The typography is aligned format-wide at the head or foot of a page. In portrait formats, the outer boundary for the typography corresponds to half of a unit, in landscape formats to a quarter of a unit. Additional text fields are two units long horizontally; the height is adapted to the amount of text, but should not be more than two thirds of the length of the field.

Horizontal logo application

On portrait formats, the logo length is 10 units, the distances to the side format edges are one unit each. On landscape formats, the logo length is 8 units and the distances to the side edges are two units of the twelve-part format width.

Vertical logo application

On all portrait and landscape formats, the logo length is 8 units of the format height, the distances to the upper and lower format edge are two units each.
